The 49th NL Folk Festival is back July 11-13th, 2025.

The francophone tent at Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Festival has been giving francophone artists the chance to perform for over a decade.

Originally a duo, bringing together Heather, a passionate music teacher, and Raymond, a proud Acadian who has been playing music professionally for about thirty years. They were joined in 2019 by Jason March, a Newfoundlander, multi-instrumentalist, who is passionate about traditional music. They are delighted to share their interpretations of their favorite pop-folk songs.

A French-Canadian duo based in St. John's that fuses French-Canadian and Newfoundland musical traditions. Through original songs, folk songs, as well as translations of Newfoundland songs, the band celebrates the diversity of French-Canadian culture, tells stories and legends of the province, and celebrates the heritage of Francophonie in Newfoundland. We're happy to get a full band this evening !

Inspired by the 50s and 60s, Adrian House's songs are funny, moving and sincere. He released an album, Pêcheur de rêves, in 2024, which earned him the Music NL Jazz Artist of the Year award. The album journeys in style from folk to jazz, with touches of rock & roll.

Rania Amirouche is 15 years old, she comes from Algeria and has loved music and singing since she was very young. She is excited to perform at the Folk Festival.

Beauxmont stands out for its ability to refresh the traditional Acadian repertoire while remaining true to its roots. Made up of six talented musicians from all over New Brunswick, the members of the group carry within them a rich baggage of musical traditions with the flavors of Louisiana. Powerfully handling voice, accordion, violin, guitars and drums, Beauxmont will carry you away with contagious energy, punchy rhythms and unforgettable melodies to let the good times roll all night long. They'll be on the mainstage at 7:45pm tonight !
