Community Workshop

Come and join us to discuss a social issue!

The challenge of recruiting baby boomers as volunteers

Due to the the massive influx of retired baby-boomers, it is easy to construe that most of them have time to volunteer and as such recruitment within our Francophone communities should be relatively simple. However, over the course of the workshop, the unique challenges of this phenomenon will become more discernible. Following an introduction to the baby-boomer profile, participants will improve their understanding of how communities can adapt and develop strategies which will engage and attract baby-boomers within their francophone networks.

Facilitator: Jean Sirois

PLEASE NOTE: this workshop is for everyone! It is not exclusively for baby-boomers, it is for anyone passionate about the development of volunteerism.
