Fraudulent telephone calls mentioning the Canadian Department of Justice have recently been reported. Justice Canada advises that it has not placed these calls and invites users to report them to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.

New legislation that ensures the protection and care of children and youth comes into effect today in Newfoundland and Labrador.
